The annual meeting to nominate and elect a board member (Director) to replace an expiring board member will be held on July 8, 2024, at 10 am. This will be followed by a special meeting to nominate and elect four officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer). Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Monday of every month at 10:00 am except in January when we take a month off. If you are planning to attend, be aware that meetings can be canceled on short notice but will be rescheduled, or there might be a location change.
Meetings are normally held in the basement of the old Franklin Town Hall building located at 915 Wachter Avenue (on Hwy. 23) at the corner of Wachter Ave and Cedar (across from the Fire Department) in Plain, Wisconsin. It is a white building with a bell tower (but no bell) and has "The Old Franklin Township Historical Society" sign hanging over the front door. There are no elevators or ramps to access the basement or upper level.
